In an unconventional 5th Glassroom Session, The VanderBlues crammed themselves into our Journalism studio for a wonderful live set.

The VanderBlues are a five piece Indie-Folk band based at Edinburgh Napier University. Their music is upbeat, energetic and thoughtful, focussing on teenage and student life.

The young band performed their first show in March last year, and have since sold out headline shows at Sneaky Pete’s in Edinburgh.

The band embraced the slightly alternative fire-door backdrop and treated us to a number of beautiful original tracks including ‘Montagues and Capulets’, ‘Scandi’ and ‘To and Fro’. They also covered ‘Holiday’ by Ocean Alley.
