Ladies & Gentlemen HER…

Adele made her return to the music industry on Friday and, like always, didn’t leave her any single fan disappointed.

Her newest single ‘Easy On Me’ comes in the lead-up to her highly anticipated 4thstudio album ‘30’ which is set to be released before the end of the year. Adele has dominated the music industry at its peak and despite lying dormant for nearly 7 years, she continues to rake in millions of streams every month. Her vocal scale and talent remains unmatched, and her music continues to carry such much meaning and passion, which you can’t help but fall in love with.

Her new track comes in true Adele fashion as she uses it as a way of venting about relationship/marital problems. Throughout the song she uses her vocal range to take listeners on a journey through her pain as she continues to attract a sense of relatability throughout her music. In the build-up to the release of this track she even compared her new album to your friends ‘coming over with a bottle of wine and a takeaway’ to offer advice and occasionally just listen. You just can’t help but pay attention to whatever Adele is saying. She has a firm grip on her listeners and is able to walk them through her emotional journey via hard-hitting piano instrumentals, which only accentuate her world-renowned vocals.

While many fans were sceptical on her return, she has proved them wrong and further solidified herself as one of the best artists and vocalists of all time. There is no doubt in my mind that this release will soar to number one, and I for one can’t wait for the millions of times that I will hear this on the radio.

Overall, I would give this single a 9/10.
